Adventist Community Services-Disaster Response - Responding To Disasters In Iowa & Missouri

Welcome To Our
Central Information Hub
Related To Disaster Response & Preparedness Activities!

The Iowa-Missouri Conference sits at the crossroads of Flash Flood Lane & Tornado Alley.  Sprinkle in some ice and snow storms and life can get interesting real fast.  The commission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is to preach the soon-coming return of Jesus Christ.  But while we wait for that blessed event, we intend to relieve suffering where we can and Adventist Community Services-Disaster Response is one way we can stand up for the fallen in a catastrophe.  We encourage the many members of our church to volunteer and become trained for those times of stress.  We also want other responding organizations to know that we stand with them and coordinate our activities to help all of our relief efforts to shine.  We are members of the Missouri VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster) and the Iowa IDHRC (Iowa Disaster Human Resource Council)Welcome to our site and check back often for news and updates within this Conference.
